It was very pleasant!!!! they stayed until everything was done which left them working until after 7:00 pm and they were very nice about everything, they didn't even complain about working so late. I have no problem with using them again for any electrical needs I may have.

Panel Upgrade, I want to thank Mike for the swift response to my estimate request. I want to say he answered all the questions I had and gave me some pointers on things I didnt think about. I was surprised at the way he worked with me on the estimates and was pleased in the excellent job Joe and Bob performed on the upgrade. Kudos All City on a job well done. I would not hesitate in calling them again. I would recommend to hire them if you need electrical work done. Again Thank You.

Professional, friendly service. Fair estimate. The poor guys had to wait in the cold because I could not find the keys to front door. They patently used the time to bring materials to the door. The owner/manager supervised 90% of the entire project. He left with only one small thing left. They were helpful in telling us other things- not to get business, just to make us aware of future plans. I would definitely use them again! I could have gone a little cheaper, but sometimes you lose quality. Glad I when with All-service.

All City Electric handled several electrical renovations in our house, including installing sconces with a dimmer switch, adding a wall switch for a pendant light, and installing separate lines for three outlets. The electricians were prompt, courteous, clean, and handled the renovation perfectly. I was extremely happy with the results, and will certainly contact them again the next time I have electrical work.

All City responded quickly to my request for a contractor. Mike carefully thought through the estimate while he was here and gave me an estimate for the electrical upgrade on the spot with the remaining job estimate a couple of days later. They were able to schedule the job very quickly. They worked neatly with little disturbance to my plaster walls and patched the plaster after they were done. I was not expecting that and am very happy about the completeness of the job. He also checked some outlets that were not working during the estimate and showed my son how to fix any shorts in the future. They did an excellent job!

They are excellent!  On time, professional and very nice.  Too bad more companies don't have customer service like this one.

Estimate was very reasonable as compared with other bids.  The owner came over twice to discuss the job and find out exactly what  needed to be done.  Two workers from All City came over and performed the job on time according to schedule.  The work was professional and the workers were cordial as well as very neat.

Joe was extremely professional with his work.  He came to the house and assessed the job knew just how to handle it and got the work done in a professional manner.  He was kind enough to clean up after himself and short of moping the floor he was very neat.  I have already given this companies name and phone number to two of my co-workers to have electrical work done in their homes.  Thank All City for hearing my cry for help and answering it soooo quickly and professionally. You can bet that if I need electrical work done again I will be calling.

Mike and his crew at All City Electrical were prompt, efficient and they stuck with the budget.  When I requested additional work, they gave me the price before they started.  Since they knew I was selling the house, they went out of their way to check everything to make sure it would pass an electrical inspection.   Mike's suggestions were helpful and actually saved me money.  I will definitely use All City Electrical again.

Below are some Frequently Asked Questions that we often hear from our clients:

Q: What is an arc fault?

A: An ARC Fault is an unintended electrical discharge usually caused by exposed or punctured electrical wiring. Arcing can also result from improperly installed outlets and switches. The arcing current has the potential to create a fire. General Electric Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters can be installed that will effectively interrupt the flow of the electrical current in the event of arcing and eliminate the chance of fire.

Q: What causes electrical outages?

A: Power outages can result from a variety of causes. During periods of high electricity usage power generating facilities may not be able to keep up with the demand resulting in a temporary “black out” which is a complete interruption in transmission, or “brown out” in which there is a drop in the level of current transmitted. Other causes are more localized interruptions that can result from downed power lines or damage to local transmitters. To protect yourself from outages you should equip your home of place of business with a dependable back up generator.

Q: What areas do you serve?

A: For a full list of our services and the places we serve, please view the Services page!

Q: What can I do to protect my electronics from power surges?

A: Power surges present a serious threat to your electronic devises. Lightning strikes can cause immediate, severe damage to electronic devices; however, even low level surges will degrade and shorten the life of your electronics. In addition to localized surge protectors dedicated to individual devices, like computers and entertainment systems the most effective approach is to install a whole-home surge arrestor.

Q: Why aren’t birds and squirrels electrocuted when they perch and walk on electrical power lines?

A: The simple answer is that they are only coming in contact with one line which does not allow the current to complete a circuit. If they simultaneously contacted two lines, or a single line and the ground, their bodies would serve as a bridge between differing voltage potentials and complete the circuit. In such case electrocution would occur.
